I will be buying a new mud motor this winter and am stuck between a stock go devil surface drive and a mud buddy 5500 black death if I could get some differences between the 2 would be great and also does anyone know if the black death has reverse |

I knew the go devil didn't have reverse but a friend of mine told me that the black deaths have reverse |

He was. Dude do yourself a favor and get a motor with reverse otherwise you will be kicking yourself in the rear |

I'm no expert but I have a 35 GTR. Motor has reverse. As far as I know Mud buddy currently has a sport V motor and a sport H in Beta testing (I think) I had experience on the 45 mag Mud buddy. It's a hell of a motor. Carries a load very well. If you want reverse on a current model your options are 1. GTR 2. Pro Drive 3. Mud Buddy sport V. This may be the first production run on this unit. Not sure. Anyways best of luck on your purchase ! |
