I'm not a mb troll btw. This was a serious question. I had a 14x48 with a 35mb and was happy with it. I've never came across a gator tail or pro drive so I have nothing to go by you know? |

Well I got some pretty healthy friends if you know what I mean lol so I want it to be stable plus I do a lot of bow fishing and prefer to be wide. |

if you havent started the build yet i would consider stepping up to a 17-18' w/ huntdeck and you can stay 60" wide if thats what you want. those bigger motors run better on a longer boat. |

I would definitely go with the 18 foot and a huntdeck. You will love, everyday that you got the extra 3.5 feet over a 16 footer. The extra floor space alone and not having the feeling of being crowded is worth the money. |

I had a 16x60 GD at one time and once I did a few mods to the motor the boat would porpoise really bad without a load in it. Id suggest an 18x60 to help with that. Just something to think about. |

I just swapped up to a 16-54 gt extreme with a 35 gtr. It will run 31 in deep water with 2 folks. Just has a mikuni and exhaust for now. Heads to be done soon. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2 |

I have a 1656 GD with mb it does 28 with me in deep water i have done 28 with 2 in shallow water but im at 4200 elevation |
