Best hull builders of the small town guys?
After reading and doing some research I've decided Im wanting to support "the little guys" shops! Tired of dumping money into major companies that in the end worry about the dollar more than the people buying it! I figure you will get better and more honest service and wind up all in all happier I believe! I've seen some good things about a few oconpanies one being shallow water customs and uncle J but thought I seen he got in some trouble so Leary on dealing with him! Anybody with pix of their custom builds! I don't want or need nothing fancy really just really a good strong boat to take a beating!! Just something I can throw my Avery blind on have room for a bunch of decoys dog n 2 guys typically! Thanks for your help!!

Curious what you heard about J. In fact, I bet J is even curious what you heard about J. You sure you don't mean Deep South?

Not sure if Jason is still a sponsor here, but he is definitely still building boats.

Sportsman Paradise. Fella named Casey in Morgan City built mine. Been beating the hell out of it for 3 1/2 years and still love it. ImageUploadedByTapatalk 21373995563.516300.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk 21373995582.654817.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk 21373995600.364400.jpg

Re: Best hull builders of the small town guys?
Casey at Sportsmans Fab is building a rig for me now. I have had two gatortraxes in the past. This is my first custom so I can't comment on any of the others. Don't even have this one in my hands yet. But I can tell you Casey has been a pleasure to work with on this build.

I will add in on Willet .. Good guy easy to deal with .. I know I don't have mine yet but I've seen the quality of his work .. Plus being the only TX gator tail dealer helped influence me
Sent from... who cares..

Re: Best hull builders of the small town guys?
Picked my Uncle J on the 4th he had three other boats there being worked on. Jason is top notch. Since deep south is gone you can't go wrong with any of the builders on here.

Re: Best hull builders of the small town guys?
all these builders are good for sure but you have to put corey crockett (thirdtimesacharm) in the mix also. hes on face book cotton mouth custom boats. PM Docott for pics. of his boat that boat is off the chain bad azz for sure... not many boats compare to Docotts
