 finally tested the motor
MM Brand: gator tail Horsepower: 23hp Boat Brand: duracraft Boat Size: 15 x 42
Speeds | Shallow Water: Speeds | Deep Water: 18mph Total Boat Load With Gear Etc: 2 guys me 140lbs, buddy 250lbs, gas, battery
the motor needs a new carb so I figure I can get more speed when it actually runs like it suppose too.

 Re: finally tested the motor
My LT runs that speed with that load, hope you get your carb worked out.. might pick up some speed.
A couple more foot of boat wouldnt hurt either.

 Re: finally tested the motor
yeah Brady its a lot nicer than the long tail. the guy I got it from tried to clean it and didn't know how to do it im guessing and now there's not choke, and its not tune correctly. its got some parts missing from what I can see. so im just going to get a new one then retry to see if I get better speed. I should be able to pick up a little cause the carb now barely keeps the engine running now.
