How would a gtr perform on a prodrive hull? Getting a gtr tomorrow and I'll be getting a boat built for it but want to put it on something so just wondering how it would perform on it

will be just fine, the angle isnt gonna be optimum but it will still work.

You might need to shim the motor up 1"-1.5" to get the motor up to the right height. You just wont have the deeper reach in the mud that the GT boats do with the steeper angle. Should run just fine though.

What angle is PD building transoms now? I had thought it was 12 degrees.

Per PD 15 degrees. Anyone want to do the math of what 5 degrees in 20" equals in inches?

Probably not very well. The GTR will be embarrassed being mounted on a ProDrive boat and will not perform up to par. ;)

The motor works terrific on a pro drive boat. The new motors have plenty of different pin holes for u to adjust there is no need for a shim. I have a 35 gtr on a boat I built that has a 15 degree transom. Here is my rig and I am very satisfied.
