I like it! When you say "light", what is the approximate weight? Would a longtail motor work on that transom? I am looking at different hull designs to run a longtail motor. I am looking for a 1844/1848 open hull configuration. Does it have flotation? Good hunting!

Im guessin it weighs about 400 pounds bare. two guys can pick it up but its a workout. Its all 1/8 with some gglide .no flotation. I run a shallow lake. Ive got kiddos that why i like the bench, u can put 4 kiddos on bench if u need to. Easy to get loose when i stuck it on a mud/water hysin island.

10-4 on the bench for seating the young'uns. I primarily hunt shallow marsh and hard bottom that's why I need the lightest hull possible, could do with just .090 gauge and a longtail motor. Maybe a good front deck for storing decoys- guess that could be my flotation.
