MM Brand: Gator Tail Horsepower:35 Boat Brand: Homemade Steve Scully bateau (guy out of Stepensville,LA) Boat Size: 17'x48" Boat Layout:3' deck with open floor double bottom, seat in back with storage in it and grab bar. 21" sides and transom. all 1/8" aluminum hull. Speeds | Shallow Water:31 mph consistantly Speeds | Deep Water: 28-30 mph consistantly Total Boat Load With Gear Etc: test ran with just me (235) battery, gas tank full, and dog. Conditions Tested In: bayou teche w/calm waters, mild wind. Comments: im new to the mud motor game and decided to go with the GTR for one reason, INSTANT REVERSE, and also my pops has one so i know what they are about and you cannot beat their service over there in louraville. I added one of the home made plates to the motor which i dont believe are on the market to give a better reverse and keeps the water from back splashing in the boat(friend introduced me to it) which is pretty sweet to have, almost gives you FPR like PD. i will post pics tomorrow. also props to steve scully he is only 24 years old, he just spun off and started building boats....excellent job, exactly what i wanted! |
