 Re: shaft removal help
Just remove the prop first. The prop will come off. Take a drill and drill into the nut behind the prop use a small enough bit get two holes next to each other covering the entire side of the nut. Do not drill into the shaft just the nut. do this on both sides of the nut. Then get a chisel and smack the nut i the holes from the chisel it will split or it will loosen. Now unthread the prop. Put a breaker bar on the non zerk side of the u joint. Then use home made setup as described.

 Re: shaft removal help
If prop itself is stuck heat up a little and it should come right off, as far as the shaft, i removed the motor and worked on it that way, gives you alot more room to work on it without the motor being on there.
