 Transom Mounting Brackets? HELP!
Alright, I just about got all the parts i need for my build, however... The one part that gets me is the bracket that is used to mount the frame of the longtail to the boats transom. What i meant is that I know how I want to set up how it pivots and everything its just that I dont know what to do for this portion of the longtail. I have a longtail frame that we are basically copying but in that guys build he salvaged a mounting bracket from and old outboard and rigged it up with some flat bar to accept a bolt. I was wondering it would be fairly easy to build one? or is there a place i could possibly buy one?
Thanks!

 Re: Transom Mounting Brackets? HELP!
its just 3 plated welded together to fir over the transom, flat bar laid perpendicular on iot to reinforce it. drill holes in the plate and weld 3/4'' nuts on the outside and put bolts on those. i welded washer on the ends of my bolts to give it more surface area. not muc to it at all.
