 HELP!!
I have a homemade long tail with a 9hp Honda. I can't seem to get the top part of the universal joint (on the engine) to stay tight. It continues to slide up?? If anyone could help or has any ideas it would be much appreciated.

 Re: HELP!!
if th eu joint keeps sliding up just pull the set screw out drill a hole into the shaft and reset your set screw with loctite

 Re: HELP!!
yea that will work and a oversize key will help. btw if you can get it, the loctite green "638" is the best. its made for slip fit put it on the shaft and set screw.

 Re: HELP!!
I use a collar that I got from my local hardware it slides on before the u-joint and stopped my problems. I think it was like 2-3.00.

 Re: HELP!!
I use square head bolts (at least grade5) and red loctite. Tighten with a breakover.
