 Squeaking at prop
I have a 16 hp go devil lt that I just bought this summer. Never had a chance to do much more than crank it up since I bought it. Finally got it on a boat and was just out getting it running after it hasn't started in a couple months. It's squeaking from the prop. I don't remember it doing that before. Is that normal? I greased it per the manuals instructions before running it. Seems like it lessens or goes away all together at higher rpms.

 Re: Squeaking at prop
Sounds like it's noise would be coming from the seals near the prop I just remove the shaft from 23hp the shaft was groved at the seal area

 Re: Squeaking at prop
I had the same thing. The nice folks at GD told me this: SPRAY WD 40 AT SHAFT AND LOWER SEALS FLANGE BUSHING MAYBE VIBRATING
Sure enough, that stopped it.
