 motor replacement questions?
I only turn 3250, 23 Gdlt with me and my dad and gear. So for a 9 I guess that's about right. And my exhaust turns red too that's normal. I'm not a motor head like some of the guys on here. Pm boat dr.

 Re: motor replacement questions?
Critch5, I used .080 gauge alum for the floor in my 1648 Grizzly, plenty sturdy. To make it level I used some U channel bracket down the middle of the boat. I used ss screws onto the ribs, probably rivets would have been better. I do suggest some closed cell flotation (I think Lowe's has it) under the floor and between the ribs, this will make it a snug fit and ward off the cold and make it quiet.

A 23 van. Will fit on that frame with a new u-joint, call GD to make sure though.
