 Stock GDLT exhaust
Anyone know where I can get a stock GD exhaust from? Right now I just have a normal lawn mower exhaust that shoots out the side and I want to go back to the exhaust that shoots out the back. I called GD and they want $150 for it, I have a 18HP Briggs.

 Re: Stock GDLT exhaust
try typing in your model number on briggs website it should come up with a parts list and have a few different mufflers to choose from. is your engine an I/C or a vanguard? if it is an I/C i just looked them up the other day and they have some that shoot out the back right from briggs

yovi91 I looked on the B&S website and they don't have the mufflers that the GD come with I will look somewhere else for it.

Try Pat's Small Engine Plus @ www.psep.com or google it. They have every thing and pretty cheap too.

 Re: Stock GDLT exhaust
Buddy of mine cut the flanges off his worn out muffler and welded them to pieces of straight pipe with threaded end. Bolt it back on the engine, screw on two straight $7 mufflers and made his own twin pipes. Sounds and runs great. When my 25 Kohler looses its muffler, this will be my replacement!
