 U joint replacement
How is the best way to do this can I just pull the shaft and leave it attached to the motor and replace that way or will it hurt the motor shaft by doing that or do ya pull the whole yoke off and replace Thanks for any info ya can give me

 Re: U joint replacement
probably easiest to just pull the motor, Might seem like more work but in the long run could make things go smoother to remove old u-joint and replace with new while the yokes aren't attached plus the engine should bolt right back up

 Re: U joint replacement
^^^^this
remove motor and have access to all of it, may want to check out that top seal also, worn out u-joint equals play in shaft....look it over real good before you put it all back together, seals are cheap and very easy to change. Done it several times on my 23gdlt

 Re: U joint replacement
Yes this is a go devil motor 25 Kholer. The motor is easier than the shaft to remove.I`ll have to look at that closer then. The holes on the mount aren`t slotted for the motor for realignment of the motor are they.
