I have the MaD plans and as others have indicted, the transom bracket sux. I am fairly new here and I cannot figure out how to search. Can some of you post pix or send me a sketch of a good transom bracket similer to the beavertail bracket. Also, what are you guys doing for bracket bolts. My bud's just want to weld a washer to a bolt and mount it in bracket. Thinking that washer needs to swivel or it will chew up the transom.

What are you guys doing for motor stops. (up and down) The beavertail I saw had a urethane knob on a botlhead it looked ike.
