 mud bubby LT questions
I have a LT 27hp kohler,
1st The gas line its small, is it that size for a reason or can i hook it up to my reg gas tanks i have with a little bit bigger diamiter hose like you would get from academy? I went and got about 3 foot of the right size hose can i just get a fiiting to hook up to a reg size gas tank hose?
2nd does it need a inline fuel pump someone told me that but dont see that in the owners manual?
3rd what size transom do i need?
4th how will it run on a 1548 southfork open floor plan?
5th If you have any other advice let me know.

I can answer two questions for you. Most likely a 16" transom (if your shaft is 72" long). And no need for a fuel pump, you SHOULD have a pulse pump on the motor.

I think most use a 7/16" fuel hose if i remember correctly

Run 1/4" fuel line. Get the blue line from a marine supply store. Don't run that shit from a big box store. It will delaminate and plug your carb. No matter how long, with 1/4" you won't ever need a e-pump
