I just bought a used GDLT. It was the 9hp Honda one but has a GX390 on it now cause the previous owner wanted more power. It does not have a kill switch though. It has a toggle switch mounted by the throttle but its broken. The toggle switch is just like this one:
http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detai ... &ppt=C0335There is a little tab with a hole that that type of switch fits into on the handle right by the throttle. I can not find an actual kill switch to go in that tab. Im not sure what year the GD frame is. Does anyone have one like this and have a kill switch on or know of a kill switch that fits into that type of hole? Ive checked all the motocross/boating/automotive placed I can think of. Or do any of you know how to use a toggle switch like that as a reliable kill switch. My mercury 9.9 uses a tether that goes in a toggle switch but in order to get the tether out, it has to be flipped. I dont see how I could rig that toggle switch up to work like that reliably anyway.
