I've got one of the specialty tools to remove and tighten the end cap of the lower bearing housing for all the Backwater motors. This little tool was used to help me get my SWOMP LITE glider kit put together. Anyway the tool is like $22 plus shipping. I'm just letting everyone know that if you need to borrow the tool, I'll ship it to you to use as long as you cover shipping costs to you and then back to me.

As much of an upstanding gesture as that is, I think that all who support Back Water for their customer service and general help to all their customers, should show the support back and purchase the necessary tools and equipment for the motors from the manufacturer itself. Not to throw shit at anyone at all but if the company goes through the trouble to offer the product the patrons should show some love back.

I want to thank Frank again for the offer. He has convinced me about the BackH20 product, and that will be my next longtail purchase, I know he has helped directly make sales for that mfg. which translates into thousands of dollars. I agree with Honky Kong about the rarity of this kind of offer of assistance. When Frank and others, myself included, plug this mfg. or others, we are trying to genuinely help other waterfowlers and we don't earn commission and I am sure mfg.'s will overlook the price of this tool when they get that kind of free advertising by word of mouth.

No I couldn't agree more about franks help and kindness both on this forum as well as in his personal life I'm sure. I was just throwing out the idea of supporting the manufacturer even on little things like specialized spanner wrenches that they offer. I understand you don't earn commission otherwise you would be supporting what I'm saying... Lol. Hope I didn't hurt your feelings frank as this is your thread.
