I am going to build a long tail for my 1436, but before I do there are a few questions...

I have seen A LOT of input, videos and speed tests, but what would be the optimum HP for a 1436 with an average of about 500lbs of gear/people (me 180lbs, wife 120lbs, son 70lbs and growing, the duck dog, fuel and decoys)?

I've got access to a new 22HP Predator (107lbs), and I have a little 8.5 to use but in my mind it seems like they are both on opposite ends of the power spectrum...I'm going to build them both out since I have them, I can always get a boat to fit em...
