 Motor problems I have a older single cylinder 16 hp briggs. The motor runs great and will get to high rpms when its out of the water but as soon as i drop it in the water it loses all its power. Anybody have any ideas?

Re: Motor problems The first thing that I would do is to buy a new good spark plug.

Re: Motor problems I was thinking about that. The spark plug looks pretty bad.
