how big is to big for an aluminum frame ???

 how big is to big for an aluminum frame ??? I plan on making a 13 hp predator longtail off mad mud motor plans I'm contimplateing making an aluminum frame what do you guys think is 13 to big for an al frame? ?? Anyone done anything bigger than a 6.5 out of aluminum ???

Re: how big is to big for an aluminum frame ??? I have made out of aluminum for about 15 years. I occasionally make a 25 HP motor, lots of 14 and 13 HP motors and of course a lot of 7 HP motors, I use different thicknesses for different pars of course. I CNC brake all of the flat pieces and tig weld every thing. If you have questions please ask or look at my web page photos.
