I'm looking to add a surface drive style throttle lever on a swomp lite 23.
Idk the diameter of the handle, I emailed backwater and awaiting a response.
I did find a 7/8 dirt bike clutch lever, is this about the right size for the handle on the frame?
Anyone else did this kind of mod? An what did you utilize?

Measure the handle diameter. See if it's 7/8 or not.

No the 7/8 will not fit. I'm in the process now of installing a lever type throttle. The pipe or whatever you use that fits the 7/8 lever will actually fit inside the handle on the swamp lite 23. I'm debating to either weld it inside or attach like Huck did his. I'm asking Huck for info now on another thread...might tune in.

Hi, the tubing diameter in the handle of the Backwater is 1 1/8", in motorcycles or bicycles normaly they use 1" and 7/8". I found this in EBay. Using a dremmel tool you can open the inside to make it fit. And order a bicycle brake cable .
I bought my in Ebay long time ago from a Co. name (ebay name) BUILT YOUR BIKE.

The bps can be made to work on the swomp handle. It has enough throw length . It's what I use from dead idle to Wide ass open.
