Standard or synthetic oil? What Sae you boys use on the Longtails. What do you guys use

All longtail brands can use some TLC, and these "glorified" lawnmower motors should get quality components. Must be a reason several mfg.'s suggest synthetic oil after the break-in period (roughly 25 hours). There are several fine synthetic brands (e.g. Mobil 1) of oil and grease. I wouldn't skimp on oil filters either. I would add that although the Champion brand of spark plug is usually recommended (e.g. RC 12 YC for my 27 HP Kohler), I am getting good results with the E-3 type. Again, we are not cutting grass, we're cutting water veggies! Be good to your LT!
