It all depends on what your individual location calls for...Here for example, I run a longtail but could get by I suppose woth a SD, I just dont like em ! :shock: :geek: :ugeek:

There is a reason PD has an angle in their drive. With their design they could have very easliy made the drive parallel with the water. I don't remember the reason but I have heard it on here before. Maybe to create some stern lift?
