Looking at buying a 25 hp go devil and the guy says it needs new seals. How big of a job would that be as far as price and actually putting them in?

i have the same motor, if the props not froze up too bad, its very easy. the parts are cheap too. if you dont buy their tool to remove the lower seal, they gonna tell you to cut the old one out with a sawzall..USE A WOOD BLADE. it will cut right thru the brass bushing without scarring the inside of the tube. oh and the cap for the seal housing is left hand thread

Hey autogate remember how i told you i thought mine would be pretty easy to get off boy was i wrong. 4 hours of intense labor and a 12 pack i finally got it off so im taking your advice and replacing everything while its off.
