I am new to this typ of boat drive. I have a welding shop and I am wondering if these kits are any good? I like the long shaft the water I fish in is full of scinny water and logs with gravel bottem, I am looking for any input about size of motor, boat plans. there is no help up here in Michigan. I want to use the boat for trapping, cat fishing, going places people cant get to. Thanks for any help, Mike

if your going to be doing trapping and fishing you probably want a boat with neutral and reverse so not go devil if you are really wanting a long tail go with a go devil they are way better then mud buddys and no one likes the scavangers
