Hey guys I dont know anything about long tails but own a pro-drive. My good buddy has a 6.5 GDLT and the mount for the motor does not swivel all the way around to where he can put the prop in the boat. he called go-devil and they said they do not make them for the 6.5?? can one be fabricated? or does anyone have any advice? thanks in advance. |

i talked to them about installing one on my boat, he said he didnt recommend it unless i was absolutely set on it. he said it lifts the motor like 4 inches and throws off the angle |

I built my own 6.5 long tail and put a swivel on it made mine from a heavy caster wheel took wheel off works pretty good, built my own mount to the boat and just pin the motor to the mount so it can be taken off with easy. |

i ordered mine from go-devil with it. dont know why it would be a issue |

Idk but the handle on my 16 hp gdlt is only like 8 in shorter than the tail so why bother. Just flag it and run |
