I just purchased a 1656 with a 35 Vanguard GDLT. I am looking for some engine upgrades. I keep hearing about the EVT Stage I kits and things like that, but I can't find any information about it. Could someone please help me out. Also, if there are any other mods that I can make to tweak the performance a little. Will these upgrades void the warranty? Thanks. |

I had my 31GDLT on a 1652 Legendcraft and had a Stage 1 kit put on by EVT and was very pleased. Go ahead and do it, you will be glad you did! |

BigDTex what did you get out of the upgrades? (more power, torque, etc.) I have been thinking about doing some mods but I don't hear of to many people doing it on LTs. Very interested. Now mine is a 23hp is it worth doing mods on this hp? |

I like what they did to mine, got a better hole shot and quicker to plane with a load and carries more load at an acceptible rate of speed. As far as a 23 goes, it's just up to what works, how much are you going to get out of the mods(cause they ain't cheap) and what it costs to buy a little bigger motor. Hope this helps. |
