Just put on my new exhaust I picked up from Keith at SETX. Sounds great, lower tone then the stock exhaust. Love the Stainless look! Great guys to work with, down to earth and ready to answer any questions you have.

I put the same thing on the same motor. I was torn... bright exhaust or sand and paint it. So 45 minutes later and 220 grit sand paper and high temp paint and no shine.

I think with the K&N filter and BPS exhaust, that I have a little more power then stock. It seems to run better and smoother.

Where do you get the K&N filter for the 27 kohler, If you don't mind me askin, around how much did u fork over for the exhaust???

Ordered the filter directly from K&N, got it in only a few days, the exhaust was $380 and in my opinion worth it, your never going to get a ton of improvement with just the exhaust and a filter but I think it allows the engine to work at peak performance and in the long run sounds better, looks better then stock as well as it doesn't rust out....By the way I have the stock exhaust if anyone is needing one!
