when I run my motor at around 3400 RPMs for a about a minute it seems to lose power and almost want to die out. Anyone have any experience with this, I just cleaned the carb and replaced the spark plugs!

Thanks in advance!

change your air filter?

Fuel system issue? air leak somewhere?

sounds like an ignition problem

What air filters are good to go with?

I guess I need to check the main fuel line to see if there are any cracks.

My guesses are either water in the gas or a some other fuel delivery issue. A leak in your fuel line will do it. along with running to large of fuel hose. I run a K&N in my boat and it seems to work just fine and dandy. but I never had any issues with the OEM filter either tho. I would disconnect your fuel line from your fuel pump and get some gas in the bottom of a coke bottle and see if the fuel is seperating. If it isnt, then check for leaks in the hose. enjoy. :)

Sounds like you are sucking in air/losing fuel pressure at the gas tank.

Thanks, will check for cracks, the gas is brand new actually emptied old gas and cleaned tank dried for a couple days then got new gas. Anyone know what a good carb would be to either upgraded or just replace the factory carb, I will probably change the exhaust also, in the future.

Why do you think you need a new carb? You can go to a mikuni, or a 30 carb/intake. You can also rebuild yours...

I would look elsewhere before jumping the gun though. Sounds kinda like ignition to me, like auto said. But air leak could be causing it too. I'd def look a little furthur, before replacing anything.

Definetly will troubleshoot and check things out prior to replacing the carb, but it is something I want to do oneday.
