 dual longtails
just wondering yalls thoughts on dual motors? i stumbled across a deal for 2 23hp gdlt bought them and have been running 1 for the past 2 years on a 15ft mod v. last week a buddy gave me a 17'6"X54 allweld and i mounted the other on it. runs great with just me and dog 24.7 mph but add gear and 2 more hunters and it just plows at about 13. can a 17'6" h andle duals or am i better off selling both for a surface drive.

 Re: dual longtails
its a flat bottom with a rounded nose. its not really a mod v but closer to that than anything else. its a home built allweld.
