 Bearing housing seal replacement

Post Bearing housing seal replacement
I contacted beavertail to get a price and part # on the replacement seals for the bearing housings. They quoted me $2.95 for the seals, and $24.99 for the caps. Are you suppose to replace the caps when you replace the seals? I would think just take the cap off, replace the seals, and re-install the original caps? yea, no?
