 question about price
I was wandering what everyone thinks a 1997 25hp Lt is worth. I am not sure how many hours are on it. Just trying did decide if it's worth what the guy is asking.

He is asking$1,250, but it looks a little rough. I guess I will go run it and see how that goes.
Thanks

 Re: question about price
a few things to look for is to see if the frame has alot of rust, if the engine is smoking or doesnt run good, if the seals, shaft and prop are all in good shape, etc just the basic stuff. i would hate to see you spend that much money if you have to spend a shit load of money fixing it up

 Re: question about price
Here in Canada. I just bought a used 16hp lt for $1300 Can. Im not even sure of the year? I guess it all depends where you live and how much others in the area are selling for. Like anything else. Here we dont see many mud motors for sale. So guys are getting more for them.

 Re: question about price
You can build your own 6.5 hp for around $600 using the plans off of ebay. They say you can use their plans to build up to a 20 hp with some additional cost.
