Looks like baby calf shit. What kinda grease is that? The plastic housing may have cracked. Wipe it down and look for a crack.

Looks like you got al ittle water in your shaft housing, also check to see if reservoir tap is cracked or threads are stripped, make sure that thing is good and tight

it seems pretty tight but i can crank down on it some more....and that is old grease that is in there...and its not leaking from the plastic housing, its leaking from the threads...should i use teflon tape? and why do you think there is water in the shaft housing?

Some times if the Upper seal gets bad enough it can get water in through there, same as lower seal water backs in but on the other hand you will start seeing grease sling from either end, you can use teflon tape if you'd like on the greaser, nothing wrong with that. Definitly pump some good grease in it.
