Does your prop have slack in it? Iis the knocking when you lift the prop in and out the water? If this is the case there is no need to worry. |

No the prop is floating properly this is happening while its running I redid the prop just to be sure per the GD specs. Its not the normal whiz and pop it actually feels like im hitting sticks while im running. |

No its not a revolution thing as far as i can tell, but there is some vibration but its always been there i dont think its anything out of the ordinary, it almost feels like the shaft is bouncing or in the bushing or something but i have no clue |

Check your U-joint it may be going out and may be trying to cease up thus causing it to pop |

Start the motor and half throttle it and listen for the popping noise, on the other hand grease the grease zerk on the u joint and see if that hleps make sure keeper pin is tight on the MOtor side of the shaft and make sure its tight on the shaft part going into your hoising, they maybe slipping. Try that |

You'll have excessive amounts of grease coming out and if you grab the prop and you can move it up and down it has play in it |

Come on Giga, jump in and save your man. The GTR owners aint looking. ![]() You would have play in your prop if your bushings were worn out. |

I just replaced the seals on the lower end, and ive got a little bit of play on the end, but im wondering if a loose bushing could cause this knocking? |

im going to pull the shaft tommorow, and see whats going on there, the weird thing is it just started doing this. Ive taken the thing out two times since i put a new prop on, and i let a buddy that i trust borrow it and he swears he didnt hit anything so i really dont think he did. i just hope its not a shaft |

Easiest way i found was to remove the motor and tap it out with a hammer and block of wood |
