if the level isnt dropping in the lubricator you should be fine. are you greasing the bearing at the fitting on the bearing itself? that doesnt take alot of grease. just a pump or two.

i have two fittings one is a quarter ways down from the top end of the shaft and the other is about half way i dont have a lubricator or a fitting on the bearing thats why i really dont know if i was putting two much or not i ran it the other day and it was starting to get hot and smoke so i put more grease but it starts to come out the top of the shaft again but runs cool i think i might be just putting to much cause i put about 10 shots in both fittings the shaft doesnt have no play in it but i didnt know if the bushing was suppose to hole the grease in or not

It's fine. When the grease gets hot it expands and takes a dump all over the place. On the older style you are supposed to loosen the upper collar before greasing so you dont blow the upper seal. Pump grease until its full then, tighten the collar back. I used to tighten a hose clamp on the collar so i could grip it by hand to loosen and tighten it. On the newer style you fill with the middle zerk until the lubricator is 3/4 full to give room for expansion. Then grease the upper bearing with the zerk on the upper collar a few pumps.

nah its not coming off tried putting it in a vise heating it up and turning the shaft with a pipe wrench and cheetah pipe you cant put to much more torque than that on it lol i rather the stainless shaft anyways wont have those problems again and a friend of mine has a machine shop and thats all he messes with and is going to do it for cost of materials so im good
