 battery question
Hello, I am a newbie. I am obsessed with mud motors, I dream about them. I just bought my first one, a 2000 long tail go-devil. My motor has a 25 hp kohler command engine. I was wondering what size battery I should be running? I am looking to purchase a battery, but want to get the right one. I was thinking around 400 CCA. Should I buy a auto or deep cycle battery? Also do these engines charge the battery, or do I need to hook it up to my charger after use?

 Re: battery question
Quit over thinking it! Its just a lawnmower engine!! They will crank up on just about anything.

 Re: battery question
Deep cycle if you are running a lot of electronics like offroad lights. But like previously posted, it is just a lawnmower motor.
