i just got a good deal on a 11 hp scav and want to know from people if they any good or is there anything i should wach for on the rig its got the honda motor |

pass... no experience, but i only hear bad. counter rotation, props, belts. |

Stay away from grass and mud, and shallow water really and you'll be fine. ![]() I have the 24 Honda Scavenger, it is what it is. You can't use any aftermarket props for it, and you will replace stretched v-belts every so often. Grass will ball up around that bulky skeg also, be prepared for this. |

good deal? it will do what it will do. if the price was right and you dont mind going slow its a pretty tuff unit. easy to work on and dependable. going slow and gathering veg is also dependable. run the he11 out of it, but if you have never had a long tail dont compare the proformance to the others it just cant do it. if you are useing it in the rocks it does a good job there, just slow. |
