I am looking at a used 14' jon boat with a 25hp mud buddy longtail. There is no such beast on there website, the closest Kolher is 27hp. Would this be a older model?? Thanks!! |

25hp kohler was the standard powerplant around 2000 or so on the MBLT... http://www.kohlerengines.com/manuals/en ... cation.htm to lookup details based on SN or Model # --- it should be right on the side of the powerplant.... |

Any one out there know about the 25hp? Is it the same motor as the 27hp? Do they have a good reputation? Thanks!! |

I've got a gd with a 25 kohler, lots of torque and no mech. issues whatsoever with it. It has about 90 hours on it, never replaced anything but the spark plugs and oil. U can't go wrong with a kohler in my opinon! But others may disagree? Smoke |

The 25, 27 are the same block just different bore sizes |
