Gonna be looking at a 2002 18hp GD longtail hopefully soon. Seller had a new prop put on last year and a new starter put on 2 years ago. From pics it looks to be in good condition. Can I get a manual from GD for this set up or can I get one anywhere? Any hints on what to look for to make sure this motor will be good to go? This will be my first mud motor so anything you can advise would be appreciated. If it matters, this will be going on a 14x44 john boat. Thanks for any help! Lookinup |

If it is a certified godevil, get the frame number and check with godevil to make sure it is not stolen. |

Do you use the ownwers manual for your lawn mower? Im not busting your chops, its just that once you get one, theres nothing simpler. I bought a 20 year old 23 Kohler and have had nothing but good times with it. Well almost, I did camo the frame with a synthetic grass and it got wrapped up in the shaft. I try to avoid stupid shit like that, but oh well. Good luck, |
