What kind of speed could be expected from a 13 horsepower honda longtail on a .080 gage riveted 14'x36" jon boat? Would this combo get on step or just barge through the water? How would it run with a load? (2 guys and hunting gear)

I'm looking at this rig to run a reservoir on the duck lease. I'm not familiar with the smaller engine longtails.

This all depends but I used to have this setup with two guy 185 lbs and gear with a blind would run 11-12 mph

my 13hp with an 8x5 prop pushes my 1648 loaded with two guys decent. Just shy of getting on plane. But it planes out with me in it alone.

My 1442 and 13 hp will run 12.5 with 2 people shotguns and a handful of decoys.
