What kind of speed could be expected from a 13 horsepower honda longtail on a .080 gage riveted 14'x36" jon boat? Would this combo get on step or just barge through the water? How would it run with a load? (2 guys and hunting gear) I'm looking at this rig to run a reservoir on the duck lease. I'm not familiar with the smaller engine longtails. Thanks |

This all depends but I used to have this setup with two guy 185 lbs and gear with a blind would run 11-12 mph |

my 13hp with an 8x5 prop pushes my 1648 loaded with two guys decent. Just shy of getting on plane. But it planes out with me in it alone. |

My 1442 and 13 hp will run 12.5 with 2 people shotguns and a handful of decoys. |
