 in the slop
I hung a 16hp gdlt crawfish model on the back of my 1436 jon boat and have been really happy with it so far. But I'm having trouble running in spots where the bottom of my boat drags. The bottom isn't especially hard here so I'm wondering if I am doin something wrong or if its just because of the hull. Whatcha think guys?

 Re: in the slop
I try to stay W/O when I get to it but most of the time I gotta slow down to navigate the narrow canals. I don't want to stop but end up stopping anyways

 Re: in the slop
Once you loose step it can be hard to keep going, what I do is get the motor running at full throttle and throw it in to the water/mud and pull up on the tiller as hard as you can to burry the prop.
When the motor gets a bite and starts moving it will bog down, I then raise the prop to the surface and hope it gets runnin.
you may have to repeat it alot....

 in the slop
Sometimes it helps to get the motor in the powerband to keep the motor from choking and at full throttle the prop tends to blow out.
