Im running a 1448 jon and i picked up a 16 vanguard gd. with a bowfishing deck, bow mount/battery and my 5 and 8 year olds up front im running 13-14 mph which i am fine with. I replaced the lower and upper grease seals and noticed im running a 9x6 prop that is worn down to 8 1/2". The boat will plain out fine but i feel im not running the full rpm's (no tac, but getting one). I saw the other thread on running a 9x3 prop on a 16 lt. Any thoughts on ordering a new prop for my combo??

I am running a 9x5 Ron Hill prop on my 16gdlt and I LOOOOOVE it. top end is nothing short of amazing but low end leaves something to be desired. In the thick slop it doesnt perform as well as I think it should. so its a trade off. but the correct prop is a 9x3.
