Advice~ I found a 35hp mud buddy longtail for sale, i have a 23hp gdlt on my 16x44 gd boat, the tag on the boat says max 30 hp, I belive the 35 mblt weighs around 200lbs, would that be too much weight, or would it be a bad ass setup i have no clue  . any help would be appreciated, Thanks

My buddy has a 1644 Gd boat with a 35 long tail. He weighs close to 300 and doesn't have a problem with over wash. Boat runs 22-23. It would be night and day compared to the 23. |

Do it and you will be surprised how many SD ya PASS ! Do a carb crossover and heads 2.
