Got a 9x7 prop bolted on last night. Hit the lake today, with three guys the rpms wouldn't go over 2900. Didn't have that problem with the old one, Is it possible I have too much pitch and need a 9x5 maybe? The boat is a 1648 and the motor is a 24hp honda longtail. Forgot the gps at home so I don't have a speed. Thanks

The 9 x 6 is what it comes with from the factory. The 9 x 7 is for the 27. How much you want for a used 9 x 7?

your prbly just not use to the slower spin of the new one.. I have a 16 GDLT that calls for a 9x3 and I put a 9x5 on it and it runs like a banshee in 1+ feet deep water. you do kinda suffer in the RPM range, but for what I do with it, it is much faster than the 9x3 for me. what brand of prop is it? that makes a difference too a lot of times..

I bought it from a guy out of minnesota on ebay. Ever heard anything about him. I also thinK the prop isn't balanced right. I got a thread on the cyber mudfest about it......
