 Driveshaft materials
I've never had a mud motor and I'm looking at putting one together. It's going on an 8' Hybrid and will be 2.5 - 3 HP. I'm trying to keep the weight down as much as possible. Is stainless steel the only option for a driveshaft?

 Re: Driveshaft materials
Get at least a 6.5 or you would be better of with a trolling motor.
Not kidding...
