 New toy
I just bought a new boat and godevil. It is a weldcraft 1442 with a 16hp long tail godevil. Is anyone here running anything similar? Trying to get some speed ideas. Not looking to go fast and I will be in mostly grass and not a lot of mud.

 Re: New toy
If you can't walk around in a 42" boat, you must have some serious balance issues.
Me and a friend can stand and fish/walk around in a 14x32, it can be tippy but you just have to watch what the other person is doing.

 Re: New toy
Finished rigging it out today and went run it. Ran 16.5 Gps by myself not loaded down. About what I expected. The RPM's were only 3050. I called GoDevil and talked with Warren Coco. He explained to me over the phone how to adjust my Governor. I adjusted it to Run 4000RPM's without a load and will run it tomorow and see if I get anymore RPM's in the water out of it. If not, I drive to GoDevil tomorow and have them adjust my prop so it turns closer to 3600Rpm's with a load. Very pleassed.
