Saturday was my first hunt with my new to me 20hpM I must say I was very impressed. It pushed me 200lbs, my 2 buddies 200 and 280, plus an 80lb dog, 2 bags of decoys and all other gear at about 14mph. The thing that impressed me the most was it pushed across a hard bottom flat w/4inches of water and the bottom of the boat was dragging. My boat is also pretty heavy, it's 15x42 with thick flotation on each side...to top it off we shot 3 limits by 8

I used a friends boat w/ a 23 GDLT on a 16 ft boat. I'm 225 and my buddy is 190 and the boat was empty and I doubt we were pushing 15 or so mph. I can't see that boat w/ the load you had going that fast. I dunno maybe I'm wrong.
