 420cc Predator shutting down? Just put a Predator motor on A SPS Longtail kit and the motor keeps shutting off when I get going. It's on a 14' jon w/17" transom. I have got it up to 16.5 mph but it won't stay running . It seams like it is starving for gas? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Got a fuel/primer bulb on your gas line??

Re: 420cc Predator shutting down? Remove the cheap clamps on it and get some hose clamps, clean the carb, and check the fuel line to make sure its not looped or anything pinching it.

Re: 420cc Predator shutting down? Just went and traded it in for a new one. If this one don't work better I'll just go back to the outboard and pushpole.
